What were you doing Remembrance Day, 1982? Hundreds of people were at Litton Industries in Rexdale (a Toronto suburb) protesting Canaduh's participation in the construction of the deadliest weapon created by the mind of man, the cruise missile. People came from all over the country including a busload from Ottawa. See the cover for a picture of nice police officers dragging people blocking the road entrance to Litton through puddles, mud and horse shit. What did this accomplish? It strengthened our resolve to fight the arms race. Ottawa band/ fanzine people have formed their own affinity group to join the newly established Ottawa branch of the Alliance for Non Violent Action. Keep your eyes and ears open for the next Litton demo, coming real soon. They get bigger and better each time!
